About Glucose Device

Four dimensions of choosing a glucose device:

*accuracy

When the glucose in the blood meets the enzyme on the blood glucose test paper of glucose device,  the glucose passes "electrons" to the enzyme through a chemical reaction. The "electrons" are then  transferred by enzymes to the medium (electronic intermediates) on the paper. The medium gleefully carries "electrons" to electrodes in a glucose device that calculates blood sugar by measuring the strength of the current. However, the enzymes mentioned above can be misjudged. If pyrrorole quinoline quinone glucose dehydrogenase (pQQ-GDH) is used in the test paper,  it not only reacts with glucose in the blood, but also reacts with maltose and galactose, which will lead to a false increase in blood glucose 4. If possible, non-PQQ-GDH glucose device can be selected,  such as the use of flavin adenine  dinucleotide glucose dehydrogenase (Fad-GDH) type glucose device.

The more blood you need, the more blood you have to take each time, which is bound to hurt more.  Too little blood is collected, the glucose device can't  measure, and you have  to waste  a  test  paper  and prick your finger again.  Therefore, it is necessary to choose a glucose device to take blood  as  convenient as possible, such as a blood glucose device with automatic blood- sucking function, or a glucose device that can be used to detect blood deficiency by adding samples twice, which can  reduce some pain. For accuracy, cost, and your specific needs, choose a glucose device that  requires  less blood volume.
