There is no particular difference between adult thermometers and baby thermometers digital. The body temperature of babies is slightly higher than that of adults. Rectal temperature: (normal value is 37.5 degrees) This is the most accurate method, but it should be noted that the anal sphincter of newborns has weak contraction ability and is easily stimulated to produce the urge to defecate.
Oral temperature: (normal value is 37 degrees) This method can be used for older babies, but for safety reasons, parents should watch over the baby to prevent the baby from biting the thermometer and causing danger. Axillary temperature: (normal value is 36.5 degrees) If it is not clamped well, the measured temperature often loses its accuracy, so the accuracy is poor. In hot weather or if the baby is wrapped too much, the body temperature will rise slightly, but it should not exceed 37.5℃. In cold weather or in a low-temperature air-conditioned room, the body temperature can drop to 36℃ or lower.
