The principle of this infrared thermometer is: all objects emit infrared radiation outward, and the higher the temperature, the stronger the radiation; the infrared sensor at the front of the device receives infrared thermal radiation from the ear or forehead and converts it into electrical signals. After amplification, ambient temperature compensation, and internal algorithm calculation, it gives a body temperature reading within 1 second. In ear mode, because the eardrum and hypothalamus share blood supply from the carotid artery, it most accurately reflects core body temperature, so its accuracy is higher. Switching to object mode allows measuring surface temperatures like milk or water. When the body temperature exceeds the preset threshold, the screen uses green, yellow, and red backlights to indicate normal, slightly high, and fever, achieving quick fever alerts.
