Oximeter Classification
There are four types of oximeters on the market, namely: pulse oximeters finger, palm oximeter, pulse oximeter and watch oximeter. Although these four types are different, pulse oximeters have been widely used in many fields. Due to technological breakthroughs, the interference factors such as light interference, noise interference, and low perfusion have been very small in the detection. The result values obtained in this way are relatively accurate and have been recognized by major institutions and authorities.

Pulse oximeters finger has the following advantages over traditional measurement methods:
Portable and convenient: The device is small and light, and patients can carry it with them or use it at home.
Non-invasive: No puncture or blood sampling is required, and there is no pain or discomfort for patients.
Real-time monitoring: Quickly obtain blood oxygen saturation and heart rate data, and adjust treatment plans in time.
High accuracy: Provide accurate physiological parameter values to help medical staff make correct judgments.
Finger Oximeter Composition
Pulse oximeters finger usually consists of a clip and a display screen. The patient inserts his finger into the clip to obtain the blood oxygen saturation and heart rate values on the display screen in real time. The finger clip oximeter is compact in design and easy to operate, suitable for use in various clinical scenarios. The working principle of the finger clip oximeter is based on the optical absorption method: Light emitting diode (LED): emits infrared light and red light, which passes through the patient's skin and is received by the receiver. Photodetector: Receives the remaining light signal after passing through the tissue and converts it into an electrical signal.

Usage
The steps to use the finger clip oximeter are as follows:
1.Insert the finger: The patient inserts the finger to be measured into the clip of the finger clip oximeter.
2.Start the device: Press the start button, the device starts measuring, and the display screen will show the blood oxygen saturation and heart rate values.
3.Observe the results: Observe the data on the display screen and record the patient's blood oxygen saturation and heart rate.
4.Turn off the device: After completing the measurement, turn off the device, keep the device clean and store it properly.
Who needs to use a pulse oximeter?
The scope of application of blood oximeter is relatively wide. Generally speaking, the following groups of people need to use blood oximeter:
1. People with vascular diseases (coronary heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, cerebral thrombosis, etc.)
2. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular patients.
3. People with respiratory diseases (asthma, bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, cor pulmonale, etc.)
4. Elderly people over 60 years old.
5. People who work more than 12 hours a day.
6. People who exercise and keep fit.

It is understood that the normal value of pulse oxygen saturation is generally between 95 and 100. When it is lower than 95, the cause of the disease needs to be found. When the blood oxygen saturation is 80, it is definitely abnormal and you need to seek medical attention in time to find the cause. When the blood oxygen saturation is 88, whether it is normal needs to be judged according to the actual situation. If it suddenly drops to 88 in a short period of time, there is a risk. However, if it is a chronic hypoxia patient, it needs to be judged according to his ability to tolerate hypoxia.
Use a blood oxygen detector to detect blood oxygen saturation. If the value is high, there may be two reasons:
1. Vigorous exercise.
If you do vigorous exercise, the patient's breathing rate may increase, and you may inhale too much oxygen, resulting in increased blood oxygen saturation.
2. Oxygen inhalation for too long.
Oxygen inhalation is a commonly used clinical treatment method that can correct hypoxia and increase arterial oxygen partial pressure and blood oxygen saturation levels. If you inhale oxygen for too long, it may cause increased blood oxygen saturation.
